Fast & Furriest 5K

Leash up your dog and unleash fun at the Fast & Furriest 5K and Fun Run at Greenway Farms. Fast & Furriest is not just a race, it's a celebration of people, pets and our beautiful outdoors all while supporting the great work of Humane Educational Society.
The event will feature a 5K Trail Race, a 1-mile fun run/walk, and a pet-friendly vendor village. HES will have adoptable pets ready to go on a walk with you!

Important Race Day Info:

Participants should arrive at Greenway Farms on race day (3/23/25) between 7:30am and 8:45am to pick up their packets. You can also pick up your packet the day before (3/22/25) at the Humane Educational Society between 2pm-6pm.

The race will start promptly at 9:00am.

If you are bringing your own dog, please make sure your dog is on a leash and in your control at all times. Please pick up after your animals, and be courteous of those around you.

If you are interested in "checking out" an HES dog during the event (available for the 1-mile only) this will be handled on a first come, first served basis. Please be aware that there may not be a dog available for everyone who wishes to take one on the trail, but we will try to be as accommodating as possible.
