New HES Location

We've gotten questions about how the public can help with the move, and we are eternally grateful that we have the community behind us and willing to see this through by our side!

How You Can Help

• Moving costs are tremendous for anyone, but add hundreds of animals and all our equipment into the mix, it's going to be a hefty expenditure, so we're asking for recurring, monthly donations to help ease some of the cost for us.  Donate here!
• Sign up as a volunteer!  Volunteers who walk dogs and cuddle cats allow the staff time to focus on operational needs, and boy, are we going to need it!  Orientation required.
• Sign up to foster!  More fosters = less pets at the shelter.  This also allows staff to focus on other aspects of the move and setup at the new location.  Approved application required.

Our Plan So Far

• We will be closed to the public and not accepting appointments January 10th through January 16th.  This is the week of the physical move and setup at the new location.
• Animal protection services will still be operational during this time for animal welfare, with a priority for emergency calls.
