Help us ensure all adoptable dogs have good photos and bios so they stand out to potential adopters and increase public interest!  Click the button above to share photos and personality profile information.

Need to reschedule a shift?  No problem! Please fill out the shift reschedule form.

All new HES volunteers are required to complete their first 12 hours in a Shelter Support role before being eligible to work hands on with the animals. Once you have completed your 12 hours in a Shelter Support role, you will be eligible to switch to one of the following volunteer jobs. Please know that you will continue to be scheduled in a Shelter Support role until you have informed the volunteer services manager which “job” you would like your recurring scheduled shift to be switched to and you have completed the necessary training to be eligible for that job.

All new volunteers are required to complete the Fear Free shelters certification before they are eligible to work hands on with the animals.  Click HERE to get your verification form, then click the button above to upload the form and start certification.
