Applications are now being accepted for the Rhea County Puppy Mill Rescue dogs!

Before applying, please read all of the below: 

Most of the dogs seized from this puppy mill have special medical needs and significant behavioral challenges due to the conditions they have been subjected to for their entire lives. HES will receive more applications than we have Rhea County dogs available for adoption. These dogs will not be adopted out on a first come, first served bases; these dogs will be matched by knowledgeable staff with potential adopters based on the needs of the dog. These dogs will be placed in the HES foster program with selected applicants until it is determined that they can be released as adopted. 
Application deadline:
The deadline for applications will be Wednesday, November 14th.  We will contact you by the end of the day on Thursday, November 15th if your application has been chosen. Please do not call or email to inquire about your application, we have a very limited staff.
How to apply:
Fill out the entire application and then submit by the deadline, November 14th.
