Special Needs – The Special Needs Fund relies entirely on donor support and enables HES to directly save lives by providing immediate and continuing medical treatment to sick, injured, abused or neglected animals.
Save a Heart – HES is one of the few shelters nationwide that treats dogs for heartworm. Heartworm has a high occurrence rate in the Southeast and is very expensive to treat, often costing in the hundreds per dog. This program is made possible through donor support.
Second Chance Thrift Store In-Kind Donations – In-kind donations that aren’t needed at the shelter such as clothes, electronics, home goods, appliances, furniture and more can be made at our Second Chance Thrift Store.
Corporate Giving – Learn how your company can help the community and homeless pets by making a charitable tax-deductible gift. HES can help sponsors reach new clients and customers.
