Hundreds of animal lovers will be gathering to raise money for the animals at the Humane Educational Society. The dog walk is a fun way to support the shelters mission to provide education and outreach to our community, medical services for needy animals, humane investigation, shelter for homeless animals, and strong adoption programs ensuring all animals adopted will have safe and loving forever homes. All dog walk participants will receive an event t-shirt and bandana. Atendees can also enjoy vendors, food trucks, adoptable pets and more!
You don’t want to miss the dog and human costume contest after the walk! Prizes will be handed out for best dog/kid costume, best dog costume, and best adult/dog costume. The costume contest sponsored by Nooga Paws is free to participate. Winners will recieve a gift basket from Nooga Paws and framed award.

Take part in the “Tennis Ball Toss”, attendees can purchase tennis balls for $1 each. Participants write their name on each of their tennis balls and line up to throw them on the count of three. Maggie, a HES alumni and local therapy dog will choose the winners by retrieving the balls. If Maggie selects a ball with your name it, you win a prize. A wide variety of prizes will be given out during the “Tennis Ball Toss” from tickets to the Tennessee Aquarium to pet accessories and more.
