Legacies & Planned Giving
The Humane Educational Society relies on community members like you to ensure that we can continue to do the important work we care so much about. Your personal legacy can make a difference for thousands of animals well into the future. Most legacy giving can be given as cash, real estate, closely held stock or appreciated securities. Common ways to leave a legacy are by a bequest, charitable annuity, naming HES as a beneficiary to a life insurance policy, or setting up a charitable trust.
To learn more about how to make a lasting impact, contact our Executive Director Bob Citrullo at firstname.lastname@example.org or call (423) 624-5302 ext 224.
We strongly suggest contacting a personal accountant or estate attorney and will provide whatever help we can. HES is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, so giving a significant gift can help reduce the loss of your estate in estate taxes.
