Hi, I’m Beanie, and I am a bundle of fun!!! You could almost mistake me for Wonder Woman as you will often see me flying through the air to catch my tennis ball. Although I am 6 years old, I have not yet lost the big bounce, the happy body wags or the energy of my puppy days. I am looking for a family who will give me all the love, exercise and attention an energetic and strong girl like me needs.
I am a confident dog with a naturally ‘good girl’ personality. I just love getting attention from my nice friendly carers at the shelter. Although I have not previously been given many boundaries at home, I am a smart girl and will respond well to training directed at teaching me basic manners like keeping all four paws on the ground, listening better and giving the ball back nicely. Add my daily exercise into the mix and you will have yourself a fun, well-mannered, loyal, lifelong companion with me!
I was surrendered to the shelter with my brother Rizzo and although I do get along with him, I have not been socialized with other dogs. That means I am usually not a fan of those other dogs, so I’m not going to be the dog park kinda girl. But I promise I will be quick to learn all the good things that you will teach me. Who knows, maybe I could learn to accept canine friends if you know how to show me how.
Applications are open to snap Beanie up. This girl has a lot of love to give and is eager to find her forever family that have all that love to give back in return, as well as the time and commitment to provide both the physical and mental exercise that an active and smart girl like Beanie needs.
