Lonely Hearts

These Lonely Hearts are in danger of becoming too used to kennel life. They desperately need a Forever Home!

ALISON

For additional information, click HERE!

Alison is a sweet girl that loves everyone. She is energetic and enjoys being outside. We are starting to teach her new things, like sit and leash manners. Alison seems to be indifferent to other dogs, but if you currently have a canine companion, a meet and greet is required to make sure they get along.

BELLA

For additional information, click HERE!

Bella is a shiny black beauty. She loves to go on walks and explore. We are working on leash manners as she is a strong girl and tends to get excited. Bella loves to play and loves toys. She can sometimes play rough, so she would probably be better for older children. Bella has learned a few tricks and loves showing them off!! She absolutely loves treats, so she is a willing and eager student. Bella wants all the attention, so needs to be your one and only dog. Bella is very sweet and loving and just needs a family to shower with her affection.

KITKAT

For additional information, click HERE!

Kitkat is a bit shy in new environments. So when you take her home, just give her time to acclimate. She's SO worth it! Kitkat is super calm, sweet as can be, does great around other cats and she is A #1 Biscuit Maker!! Kitkat is just the sweetest cat you could ever want. She would be an excellent kitty companion. I've seen her walk right up to another female cat and groom her entire head. Check out her video, she had just met Spazzy with her. She loves other felines. We also have more video of Kitkat being super sweet and enjoying people attention. She's great with kittens too!!

LIGHTNING

For additional information, click HERE!

Lightning is a 3 ½ year old lab mix. The boy is super bouncy in his kennel, very eager to get out! Once outside he is very calm, just exploring all the new scents and sounds. Lightening gets along with other dogs and is easy to walk. We’ve heard he’s not a fan of cats, and he can be slow to warm up to unfamiliar men. Lightning seems to really enjoy the ladies AND the kiddos!

REBA

For additional information, click HERE!

I'm a sweet girl looking for the love of a family. I come as a pair because I was surrendered to the shelter with my brother Smokey! We've always been together and love each other very much. Our canine family would be complete with a human that we can love as well! We are both are shy (Smokey more than I) and the kennel is a bit scary for us. So, when you come to meet us, don't be surprised if we are a bit timid. With your love and patience while we settle in, we will be the best pint-size companions you could ever ask for...

SEAN

For additional information, click HERE!

Sean is a 42 pound terrier mix, who is about two and a half years old. He has been with us since July, 2017. In his kennel, he sometimes appears very concerned with his wrinkled brow. He is no doubt wondering how he ended up in a shelter. He obviously had a home at one time, as he is attentive and extremely well mannered. We believe he is house trained. He walks very well on leash and knows how to sit. Although he loves to run and bounce around the yard, he does not jump on you. He has been known to play with toys, especially tennis balls. With most other dogs, he seems casually friendly and not overly excited. Now and then, he finds another canine that he wants to romp and play with.

SHEILA

For additional information, click HERE!

What may catch your eye and heart about Sheila is her sitting in her kennel looking up shyly at you, as though to say: Notice me, please. Sheila is a beautiful black and white Terrier/American pit bull mix female. It would be hard to find a nicer dog. She’s smart, walks well on a leash, knows Sit and would love for you to teach her other commands and tricks. She loves her treats and would be so easy to train. She enjoys walks as long as it’s not 95 degrees outside. She does like her A.C. then. That shows she’s real smart. Sheila gets along with other dogs beautifully, but a Meet & Greet with her, your other pets and children, is a must for a happy life for everyone. Being a little bit shy, she’ll want to get to know you slowly. Take it slow and easy and before you know it, she won’t be shy with you anymore. If you are looking for a sweet girl to snuggle with you on the sofa or be your best buddy to watch the big game or go on longs walks when it’s mild outside, Sheila’s waiting on you to notice her and take her home.

SMOKEY

For additional information, click HERE!

Smokey is a 6 year old feist mix. Right now, he is a little skittish and the shelter scares him. He takes a little bit to warm up, but he is a sweetheart once he does. He also walks well on a leash. Smokey along with his sister Reba were surrendered to the shelter together! They've always been together and love each other very much. Their canine family would be complete with a human they can love as well! They are both are shy (Reba less so than Smokey) and the kennel is a bit scary for them. So, when you come to meet them, don't be surprised if they are a bit timid. With your love and patience while they settle in, they will be the best pint-size companions you could ever ask for...
